The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Applications on Talent Attraction: A Field Study of Private Sector Hospitals in Riyadh

This study aimed to explore the current applications of AI technologies in attracting human talent and evaluate their impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment processes in hospitals. It also sought to identify the main challenges facing the application of AI in this context and measure its impact on improving the quality of healthcare by attracting the right talent. Additionally, the study analyzed the impact of AI on job applicants' experiences. The study relied on a descriptive analytical approach to data collection and analysis, targeting a sample of 31 participants working in private sector hospitals in Riyadh. A questionnaire was designed, divided into five main themes: practical applications, efficiency and effectiveness, challenges, healthcare quality, and job applicant experience. The study results indicated that AI technologies are primarily used to accelerate recruitment processes, analyze CVs, and predict future job needs. However, the results highlighted its limited use in some advanced applications. The results also revealed that AI significantly improved the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment processes by reducing costs and saving time, in addition to reducing human bias. The study recommended increasing investment in technical infrastructure and providing specialized training programs to develop human competencies capable of handling AI technologies, ensuring maximum benefit from these technologies in improving recruitment processes and the quality of healthcare services.
