The Role of Artificial Intelligence Applications and Project Management Software in improving in Large-Scale Projects management in Saudi Ariba

Abstract

The study addressed the challenges facing large-scale project management, especially time delays and budget overruns. It demonstrated the remarkable role of AI tools in improving the accuracy of planning, risk forecasting and resource management. Additionally, the study indicated that the automation of routine tasks reduces the need for human intervention, enabling project managers to make strategic decisions and enhance the overall efficiency of the project. 

The study employed a virtual simulation approach, through using advanced tools such as “Microsoft Project” and “Azure Machine Learning Studio” instead of traditional questionnaires. These tools could analyze the complicated circumstances of projects, and provide critical insights into the impact of AI on project management and processes and. Meanwhile, the study emphasized the increased significance of integrating AI tools into human stewardship to achieve the best results when managing major projects. 

The study concluded that AI significantly enhances project planning, financial forecasts, and resource distribution, while reducing delays and human errors. The study recommended the gradual employment of AI tools in conjunction with developing human skills, launching targeted training initiatives, and providing infrastructure funding to bolster AI algorithms, specifically designed for large-scale projects.
