The study aimed to explore the impact of the internal environment of Saudi institutions on transforming ideas into implementable products, with a focus on organizational innovation and supporting the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The internal environment in this study represents organizational culture, supportive leadership, infrastructure, digital transformation, and training and development programs. A mixed approach was used that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. The study population consisted of employees in Saudi institutions at various job levels. The study sample was (80) individuals working in Saudi institutions. The study tool was semi-structured interviews and a questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed to a selected group of institutions, and the data was analyzed using advanced statistical tools. The results showed a strong positive relationship between the elements of the internal environment and its ability to enhance innovation and transform ideas into products. Organizational culture and digital transformation are among the most influential factors, while supportive leadership demonstrated a need to improve risk management strategies to support innovation more effectively. The results also demonstrated the role of Vision 2030 as an intermediary factor that enhances institutions' ability to innovate by developing digital infrastructure and encouraging partnerships between the public and private sectors. The study provided a set of practical recommendations for institutions, including improving supportive leadership. It also recommended focusing on studying different leadership styles and their impact on innovation, as well as expanding the scope of studies to include more diverse sectors and regions. This study contributes to bridging a knowledge gap regarding the role of the internal environment in promoting institutional innovation in the Saudi context, which supports the achievement of the goals of Vision 2030 and strengthens the Kingdom's position as a regional and international center for innovation.
