Abstract

This study investigates how digital leadership contributes to job stability during technological transformation in hospitals in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A quantitative approach was used, with structured surveys collected from (105) hospital employees to assess the impact of leadership behaviors—such as communication, support, training, and teamwork—on perceived job stability. The results showed that digital leadership had a strong and statistically significant effect, explaining 48% of the variance in job stability scores (R² = 0.48, p < .001). These findings highlight that hospital leaders who foster open communication, reduce stress, and create supportive environments are more likely to maintain workforce stability during digital transitions. The study offers practical guidance for healthcare administrators aiming to ensure smooth digital integration while safeguarding employee well-being and commitment. The study recommends the importance of adopting training policies on technology and digital transformation, open communication, and practicing motivation and encouragement for digital adaptation to enhance job stability.
