Abstract

The current study aims to explore the impact of teamwork on the success of a leader's plan through a field study conducted in private schools in the western part of Riyadh City. The study adopted a descriptive-correlational approach to determine the nature of the relationship between the study variables, using a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The study population consisted of all educational leaders and teachers in private schools in West Riyadh. The study sample comprised 120 individuals, including teachers and educational leaders from private schools in the same area, selected through a stratified random sampling method to ensure representation of different segments. For data analysis, a set of statistical methods appropriate for the nature of the collected quantitative data was used, including arithmetic means, standard deviations, and regression analysis.

The study yielded several significant findings, most notably: a positive and statistically significant impact of teamwork on the success of the leader's plan. Specifically, the study showed that levels of cooperation and effective communication within the team, in addition to clear roles and responsibility distribution, are strongly linked to achieving plan objectives and execution quality. The results also indicated that institutional support and stakeholder satisfaction, represented by teachers, are positively affected by the effectiveness of teamwork performance. Qualitatively, respondents' opinions reflected the importance of the leader's motivational role in building a cohesive and engaged team, and the necessity of activating continuous feedback mechanisms to improve performance.

Based on these findings, the study offered several key recommendations, including: the necessity of adopting specialized training programs for educational leaders focusing on team building and management skills, the importance of fostering a culture of collaborative work within educational institutions, and the design of clear mechanisms for evaluating team performance and linking it to the success of the school's strategic plans. The study also recommended providing sufficient resources to support teams and regularly celebrating collective achievements to boost morale and motivation.
