The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Technologies In green Marketing on Sustainable Development: A Descriptive and Analytical Study of the Aviation Sector in Jeddah

Objectives:
This study aimed to examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies within green marketing on achieving sustainable development in the aviation sector in Jeddah. It also sought to highlight the role of green marketing in supporting sustainable practices and strengthening the environmental and economic dimensions of this vital sector.
Methodology:
The study adopted a descriptive–analytical approach and utilized a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of 138 employees working at Jeddah Airports Company. The instrument was designed to assess the level of AI and green marketing implementation and their relationship with sustainable development.
Results:
The findings indicated that the aviation sector in Jeddah applies AI technologies at a high level to support sustainable development, and that green marketing plays a significant role in this context. The results also revealed a strong positive relationship between the adoption of green marketing and sustainable development, as well as a positive correlation between AI technologies and sustainable development. Moreover, green marketing demonstrated a clear and direct impact on sustainable development, whereas the direct impact of AI technologies was relatively limited.
Conclusion:
The study recommends enhancing sustainable practices in the aviation sector through the use of AI technologies to monitor and reduce environmental impacts. It also emphasizes the need to implement stringent environmental regulations and policies to limit carbon emissions, including the imposition of environmental fees on flights that exceed established standards.
